As we reported earlier here, Micreo Limited, an Australian designer and manufacturer of radio frequency subsystems for global defence and aerospace industry – and a client of Baxter IP – announced in May that it had begun shipping RF Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs) to Raytheon’s SAS Division. The units will be incorporated into the ALR-69A(V), the world’s first all-digital radar warning receiver (RWR).
Micreo Limited designs and manufactures a range of microwave and photonic subsystems for global defence companies, and its products are installed in several of the world’s front-line military aircraft and ships.
Recently, Micreo Limited also announced that it has begun to collaborate with Australian Defence and other Australian industry partners to manufacture first‐of‐a‐kind counter improvised explosive device (counter IED) equipment. This will ensure that Australia remains on the cutting edge of developing the defence science and technology needed to address the global threat posed by IEDs. You can view the June 2015 announcement here.
Baxter IP congratulates Micreo Limited on their successes. We look forward to continuing to work with the company to ensure patent protection for their innovative solutions.
