Belinda has a passion for brands. She recently spent a decade working in London for one of the biggest sports brands companies in the world, helping them to grow their global brand presence. Working in a large corporation gave Belinda an excellent business perspective – it helped her to approach matters from an international angle and to recognise the importance of long-term planning for brand growth.
Belinda advises clients on all areas of trade marks and branding, including trade mark registrations, brand licences, trade mark oppositions, infringements and passing off. One of Belinda’s key areas of focus is helping clients to develop and implement strategies to protect brand value, both locally and internationally.
Belinda is a registered Trade Mark Attorney, having trained at a top rate Melbourne law firm. She has previously advised a broad range of clients on branding and trade mark matters, including technology companies, national brands, retailers and innovative start-ups. Belinda’s aim is to give clients cost-effective, commercially-focused and practical advice to help them achieve their goals.
Belinda is valued by her clients for being proactive, conscientious and tenacious in her approach to achieving client objectives. She enjoys working with people from across client businesses, to help her gain a detailed understanding of each client’s end game.
Outside of work, Belinda’s interests include European cinema and re-discovering the many charms of Melbourne.
