Greg is an IP strategy and commercialisation specialist. He has over 5 years of experience in strategic management of IP Portfolios, Business Development and Commercialisation of IP from within both public institutions and private industry.
Greg’s professional focus for the past ten years is in management consulting, business development, marketing and strategy within the renewable energy, consumer electronics and the IT&T industries amongst others. He has proven and extensive experience in project management and product assessment and development and has worked in Australia, USA, HK, China, UK and Japan.
Most of Greg’s career has focussed on new technology and innovation. Either from the perspective of assessing new technology for investment, IP protection and commercialisation or launching, marketing and selling new technology into new markets.
Greg was previously the IP Manager at the University of Sydney and has also worked at Sydney University as a Business Development Manager in Technology Commercialisation. Previous experience includes setting up a Solar Research Business in California, Management Consulting (within the IP Instructor) and various Business Development and Marketing roles.
Most recently Greg has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.
